SAFETY
Trust built into every handoff
When you pass a trip to another driver, you are handing over your client. Uways is built so you always know who is driving, where the trip stands, and what the rules are.
Verified on Uways
License, insurance and vehicle documents on file
VERIFIED DRIVERS
Every driver is checked before their first job
Nobody receives a job just by downloading the app. Each account goes through the same steps.
- Phone verificationEvery account confirms its phone number with a one-time code.
- Account reviewNew accounts are reviewed by our team, and drivers can sign in only once they are approved.
- Driver's license checkThe license is read automatically when it is uploaded, and a license that can't be read is rejected.
- Insurance and permitsInsurance certificate and TCP permit, plus each vehicle's commercial registration and commercial insurance.
LIVE TRIP VISIBILITY
Know where every trip stands
Once a job is assigned, you don't have to call to ask. The trip shows you where things are.
- In Progress
- On The Way
- On Location
- Passenger On Board
- Drop Off
Status at every step
Drivers update the trip as they go, from heading to the pickup to dropping off the passenger.
Live location
See the assigned driver on the map. Going available requires precise location, so the position is accurate.
Reminders before pickup
If the driver is still offline an hour before pickup they are reminded, and at 30 minutes you are alerted too.
A record of every trip
Completed trips keep their waybill, so the details are there when you need them later.
YOU STAY IN CONTROL
You decide who drives your client
Review before you assign
Check the driver's profile, vehicle and service details before you hand over the trip.
Work with drivers you trust
Save drivers to your favorites and send jobs straight to the ones you know.
Report or block
Something not right? Report a user or block them straight from their profile.
Trip history and reports
See the jobs you posted and the trips you drove in one place.
COMMUNITY RULES
Clear rules for every trip
Every assigned driver sees these guidelines on the job. Accounts that don't follow them can be blocked by our team.
TRIP GUIDELINES
Represent the driver or company that assigned you the trip professionally. Do not promote your own business, hand out business cards, or solicit future bookings from their client.
TRIP GUIDELINES
Complete the trip yourself using the vehicle shown when you were assigned. Any vehicle change requires approval from the job poster. Do not pass the trip to another driver.
CLIENT COMMUNICATION
Direct all questions about rates, payments, extra charges, or gratuity to the job poster. Do not request payment or tips from the passenger unless instructed by the job poster.
CLIENT COMMUNICATION
Report delays, extra stops, or additional waiting time to the job poster promptly, and keep your trip status updated in Uways.
YOUR CLIENT STAYS YOURS
Share the trip, not the client
Covering a ride with another driver shouldn't mean losing the relationship you built.
-
The driver represents you
The trip guidelines ask drivers to represent the driver or company that assigned the trip, and never to promote their own business to your client.
-
Only you see who applied
The drivers who said they are available for your job, with their vehicles and plates, are visible only to you.
-
Questions come back to you
Rates, payments and extra charges are handled by you, not by the driver in the car.
