Across the harbor
Close to downtown, through a tunnel
Logan sits in East Boston, about 3 miles from downtown across Boston Harbor. Every black car run into the city goes under the water, through the Ted Williams Tunnel on I-90 or the Sumner and Callahan tunnels on Route 1A. The distance is short, but a backed up tunnel can turn a 10 minute transfer into 45, so check traffic before you leave the lot.
Logan has four terminals, A, B, C and E. There is no Terminal D. Most international flights land at Terminal E, where executive and VIP meet and greet jobs often start, and passengers take longer to come out because of customs.
Step by step

Take the job
Every airport transfer shows the terminal, flight number, passenger count and vehicle type before you accept.
- 2

Logan tips for black car drivers
Check the tunnels first
The tunnels are the only quick way between Logan and downtown. Check traffic before you leave, and carry an E-ZPass for the tolls.
Terminal E takes longer
International passengers often come out 45 to 90 minutes after landing. Plan your wait around customs, not the landing time.
Plan for winter
Snow and de-icing can push flights back by hours. Check the flight again before you leave, and keep the passenger updated.
One network
Built for limo and black car operators
Whether you run a single luxury sedan or a fleet of SUVs, stretch limousines and Sprinter vans, Logan keeps you busy and sometimes overbooked. Biotech meetings in Kendall Square, college visits, hospital trips to Longwood and summer runs down to the Cape all start at the airport. Uways connects you with professional chauffeurs across greater Boston, so a last minute airport transfer never turns into a lost client.
Post a Logan pickup you can't cover and another professional driver on the network takes it. Or turn on your mile range around the airport and pick up black car, limo and executive car service jobs from other operators between your own rides.
